Politics of Fear

Recently, Republican fundraisers were attending and conference where the national Republican leadership said the the way to get money out of the "man-on-the-street" Republican is play to their fears. They are supposed to appeal to the egos of the wealthy.

Is this the way of putting country first, when a political party plays to the basist human feeling of fear? Is this what politics is about...FEAR?

How's that hope and change working?

If the entire economy is turning into something where people are paid for just being, rather than producing, that is unsustainable.

Maybe it is time for some fear!
